IOC H SE Induction (E-LEARNING) (GC)
This course is required in order to access the Iron Ore Company of Canada sites at Sept-Îles and Labrador City. This training is available in an e-learning format. Obtaining site access also requires workers to take and pass a screening test for drugs and alcohol.
Target Audience
All contractors who must work at or access the sites at Sept-Îles and Labrador City. The 90 minutes IOC HSE Induction e-learning training is required for all contractor employees who:
· Are working at an IOC site for the first time
· Have passed 6 consecutive months without working at an IOC site
Note that this training is good for life.
Objectives
The purpose of the IOC HSE Induction course is to prepare contractors to work at IOC sites. The Company has implemented several policies, procedures and management systems with which contractors must be familiar and in compliance in order to work at IOC:
