COURSE OVERVIEW

In this subject, students will learn the essentials of community development and capacity building with a focus on developing potential and enhancing community living. Students will learn how community development is initiated and the steps in the community development process. Students will learn how to use Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) strategies to strengthen communities and include people at risk for marginalization.
