RT-BC Carbon South Safety Induction

This course presents the different operations of the Carbon South Area and the applicable safety measures.

Target Audience

All contractor employees accessing the Carbon South Area.

Objectives

Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:

• Identify the key areas within the Carbon South area

• Describe the critical risks and the corresponding control measures in these areas

• Explain the processes followed at the Coke Calciner (CokeCAl) and Anode Paste Plant (APP) areas;

• List the rules followed in the Carbon South area• Identify the area-specific personal protective equipment (PPE)
