Balancing biological, psychological, social, and cultural approaches, this subject takes an integrative approach with a modern, and scientifically valid method for studying abnormal psychology.

Knowledge Competencies
Describe and illustrate the various interactions of various forces that contribute to psychopathology. I think this needs to be a bit more specific. Describe and illustrate an understanding of the causes, contributors and roots of psychopathology and abnormal behaviour.

Explain the most commonly identified psychological disorders and their behavioural manifestations. Illustrate an understanding of how these mental health issues can lead to or be concurrent with substance abuse and addictions.
