RioTinto Major Projects Kemano

E-learning presentation of the health, safety and environmental requirements applicable to contractors performing work on the sites of Rio Tinto Kemano. This training is mandatory to have access to the site of Rio Tinto Kemano.

Target Audience

All contractor employees accessing Rio Tinto’s Kemano site.

Objectives

· Ensure that all contractors are well aware of the applicable requirements

· Establish the safety requirements that will be applied before and during work being performed at heights, including the process that will be followed for hazard identification on the project

The hazards associated with working at height are high of consequence and this procedure sets out to provide controls that can assist in reducing these hazards that can cause harm to people, plant and the environment

Other training requirements may apply depending on the nature of the work to be performed.
