COURSE OVERVIEW
In this subject, students will learn the process of health promotion at multiple levels of influence. Health promotion is the process of enabling people to increase control over the determinants of health using a multi-pronged approach and thereby improve community health. Students will learn that community participation is essential to sustain health promotion action.

Part 1: Demonstrate contributing to the development of a health promotion program plan
Part 2: Demonstrate assisting community agencies/organizations to develop a grant application for a health promotion action
Part 3: Demonstrate assisting with the implementation of a health promotion program
Part 4: Demonstrate monitoring achievement of expected targets for a health promotion project by evaluating health promotion action
