COURSE OVERVIEW

In this subject, students will learn the practice of communicating promotional health information through health education with community members and community partners. Students will learn the purpose of communicating health information to influence personal health choices by improving health literacy.

Part 1: Demonstrate contributing to the development of a health promotion program plan
Part 2: Demonstrate assisting community agencies/organizations to develop a grant application for a health promotion action
Part 3: Demonstrate assisting with the implementation of a health promotion program
Part 4: Demonstrate monitoring achievement of expected targets for a health promotion project by evaluating health promotion action
