About This Training

Every workplace is different and our objective is simple, to help employers prevent and reduce the frequency and impact of workplace injuries.
We offer a comprehensive suite of corporate training programs which are available in a classroom, workplace or online setting. Our programs are developed to meet workplace regulations and requirements including programs available for aviation, marine, mining, forestry, oil and gas and law enforcement environments.

Courses

 Standard First Aid – CPR Level A + AED
This course is designed to provide comprehensive first aid training, including CPR for adults and automated external defibrillation (AED), and is a popular choice by business and industry for training employees. Each student will receive a St. John Ambulance First Aid Reference Guide with over 400 pages of information, full colour illustrations, charts, glossary and more. Provincially recognized certificate which meets WSIB and Canadian Labour Code certification, valid for three years, is issued upon successful completion.

Standard First Aid – CPR Level A + AED (Renewal)
This renewal course is designed to review knowledge and skills learned in the full course (highlighted above).

Standard First Aid – CPR Level C + AED
This two-day course covers all the skills in Emergency First Aid plus first aid for other injuries and illnesses including head and spinal injuries, fractures of the upper and lower limbs. This course includes Level C CPR training and certification (Adult, Child, Infant, and 2-rescuer resuscitation) and AED training and certification. This course is an accepted prerequisite for medical, dental, nursing, police, fire and ambulance programs. Provincially recognized certificate which meets WSIB and Canadian Labour Code certification, valid for three years, is issued upon successful completion. A renewal course is available. The renewal course is designed to review knowledge and skills learned in the full course.

Standard First Aid – CPR Level HCP (Health Care Provider)
This course is for individuals who are working or plan to be working in the Health Care field and require the Health Care Provider level of CPR. The course includes all CPR skills plus advanced skills such as artificial respiration and use of bag valve masks and AEDs. Provincially recognized certificate which meets WSIB and Canadian Labour Code certification, valid for three years, is issued upon successful completion. A renewal course is available. The renewal course is designed to review knowledge and skills learned in the full course.
